  • “Trees” began a tree planting recognition program in 2004.
  • The crystal ornaments shown below were given to past participants.
  • You can continue to support Portage’s urban forest by planting a tree in your yard or on your boulevard.
  • Please complete the registration form that will be used to update the city tree inventory and allow us to keep track of the growth of our urban forest.
  • Submit the form electronically (just click on the submit button at the bottom of the form).
  • If you have any questions about this recognition program, you may email any member on the Help page or contact a Board Member.

    To qualify, trees must be planted and maintained according to the guidelines adopted by the city for tree selection and planting.

    Participants will be honored at a City Council meeting, with the Trees For Portage, Inc., Crystal award.
